At once mechanical relic and speculative artifact, Carburetions conjures a future imagined by the past. Centered on a vintage carburetor form, this sculptural piece bristles with interlocked brass gears, a rusted burner cap, and a decorative chain—suggesting a hybrid of steampunk alchemy and forgotten utility. The circular symmetry of its base and crown reinforce the impression of engineered purpose, though its function remains unknown. It invites the viewer to consider the beauty of bygone machines and the poetic residue of their obsolescence.the heart of a mechanical organism.
