  • Distressed paper background

  • Matte board and dimensional paperboard

  • Acrylic paint and gel medium

  • Found electronic components

Tuning Element explores the intersection of geography and calibration—where maps meet machinery. At its heart, a cylindrical variable capacitor suggests precision and fragility, while layered topographic maps create a shifting landscape of memory and movement. A small glass disc above, echoing planetary blues, implies navigation beyond the physical. The background hints at cosmic interference: a place where mechanical alignment and spatial disorientation coexist. This piece balances analog nostalgia with celestial curiosity.
