A tribute to the artistry of early machinery, Manual Mechanica arranges wooden and metal components into a visually rhythmic sequence. Wooden spindles—lathed, grooved, and gear-tipped—recall the workings of looms, mills, or drafting tools. To the right, finely turned pegs and an ornate knob suggest both musical and mechanical functions. The piece evokes the feel of a bygone era when motion was translated by hand and elegance was built into the function.
