Portal
17” x 9.5” x 4.5”
In Portal, carved elephants stand watch over a mysterious shrine where luminous filaments resemble delicate creatures. With moss threading through relics of circuitry and wood, this assemblage becomes an invitation to cross into realms where nature, memory, and machine intermingle.

Nestled within a weathered architectural relic, Portal presents two luminous vignettes that evoke ancient myth and speculative futures. Flanked by columns and framed by intricately carved elephants—guardians of memory and wisdom—the dual windows suggest sacred passageways. Within, fragile vacuum tube filaments rise like translucent creatures or sentinels, bathed in cool, celestial gradients of blue. Moss winds its way through these scenes, softening the divide between organic decay and electronic residue. The work becomes a quiet meditation on the liminal space between nature and technology, past and potential.
