Vintage roller skate components—two wood-and-metal casters and a skate key—are affixed to a richly textured surface made from layered tissue paper, glued and sanded to reveal striated patterns beneath. The vertically mounted arrangement evokes both the mechanical form of a chassis and a nostalgic echo of childhood motion. The weathered materials suggest forgotten movement, worn tracks, and stories embedded in the friction of time.
