System Idle evokes the dormant potential of a machine once in motion. Brass valves stand still, gears disengaged, and a looped copper pipe, wrapped in cord, now circles without current. Carefully composed mechanical remnants suggest a paused mechanism—waiting, perhaps, for its purpose to resume. Surrounded by layers of yellowed and sepia-toned newsprint, the scene feels like a diagram preserved in a forgotten manual—an engine of action, now silenced.
