In Tenuous, fragments of classical imagery and musical notation converge with industrial components and childhood tokens, reflecting the delicate threads that bind identity, intellect, and imagination. A distressed etching of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza suggests noble but aging ambition, while children’s alphabet blocks spell a quiet “BYE” — both farewell and a marker of formative language. Rusted metal elements and a salvaged tuning mechanism hint at obsolete technologies and the measure of fleeting resonance.
